Using Data Visualizer – Create a Chart

1. Ensure that you have logged in to the DDDP platform
2. Locate and select the App Store button located at the top right corner of the screen close
to your user profile.
3. Select the Data Visualizer app in the App Store.

This opens the Data Visualizer user interface as pictured below

Configuring Data
1. Select the Data dimension at the upper left corner of the screen under MAIN
DIMENSIONS. It opens a small dialogue box listing available options for configuration.

i. Data Type – Event data Items
ii. Program – Projects & Programmes Register (P&P)
iii. Double click on the relevant data. The selected relevant data moves to the other side of the
dialogue box.

3. Click Hide to hide the dialogue box or Update to update the chart.
Configuring Period
1. Select the Period dimension at the upper left corner of the screen under MAIN
DIMENSIONS. It opens a small dialogue box listing available options for configuration.

i. Select Fixed Periods.
ii. Set Period type to Yearly and Year to 2022
iii. Double click on the relevant years(periods). The selected relevant years moves to the other
side of the dialogue box.
3. Click Hide to hide the dialogue box or Update to update the chart.
Configuring Organisation Unit
1. Select the Organisation Unit dimension at the upper left corner of the screen under
MAIN DIMENSIONS. It opens a small dialogue box listing available options for configuration.

2. Select your district(s) assigned to you. NB: Depending on your role, you may have more
than one district available. You can select those districts as and when required.

  1. Select Fixed Periods.
  2. Set Period type to Yearly and the preferred year e.g., 2022 or 2023

iii. Double click on the relevant years(periods). The selected relevant years moves to the other side of the dialogue box.

3. Click Hide to hide the dialogue box or Update to update the chart.
You will see the chart being created on the Data Visualizer as pictured below

Configuring Organisation Unit

  1. Select the Organisation Unit dimension at the upper left corner of the screen under MAIN DIMENSIONS. It opens a small dialogue box listing available options for configuration.

NB: Performing the last step when configuring the Data, Period, or Organisation Unit updates
the look on the chart.
